Kingston

Hotels are for the most part locally owned in Jamaica with the exception of a few foreign-owned resorts. Amenities range from shabby to world class at hotels across the island, with breakfast included at many accommodations. Many boutique hotels could be more accurately described as an assortment of cottages or villas. In Negril and Treasure Beach certain properties have tailored their offerings to entice sophisticated travelers who swear by places like Tensing Pen, The Caves, and Jake's.
